The Ramachandran plot shows the statistical distribution of the combinations of the backbone dihedral angles ϕ and ψ. In theory, the allowed regions of the Ramachandran plot show which values of the Phi/Psi angles are possible for an amino acid, X, in a ala-X-ala tripeptide (Ramachandran et al., 1963). 2018-05-15 Ramachandran plot revealed that the predicted model has 94% amino acids in the core region of Ramachandran plot. The number of residues in allowed region and outlier region were 4% and 0.9%. It is generally preferred that if 90% residues are in the allowed region, the quality of the model is evaluated as accurate and reliable.
